"LAS 8 DIFERENCIAS"

La primera persona que nos mande un mail con las 8 diferencias que
hay entre las 2 fotos de abajo ganará un premio!
Recuerda: asegúrate de ponernos tu dirección postal en el mail si quieres
recibir el regalo!

Thank you for all those who entered the "spot-the-difference" competition, published on 1 November 2005. The organizers can now anounce the results...

In reverse order, the top three, being those who supplied the correct 8 differences in the quickest time, are as follows:

Tina Parayre, Barcelona - email received, 17.59, Friday 4 November (European Time)

(Tina thought she spotted 9 differences, but that was because she hadn't adjusted the size of the images on her screen properly!)

Yuko Matsushima, Tokyo - email received, 14.51, Friday 4 November (ET)

And the winner, with 8 correct answers in the quickest time...

James Singer, London - email received, 12.21, Friday 4 November (ET)

Congratulations to all three, but, in particular to James for his military-style response. "Just typical," Jeff thought on receiving the first correct answer, "if there is a competition to win, then it is a sure bet that James will be in the running!" Your winner's prize will be despatched shortly!

Before signing off, however, we would like to thank all the participants:

Isa Cruz (8 correct answers, but too late!)
Mike Singer (there were no dice (part of the Russian doll?) and you missed the pillow!)
Nick Kitching (hmm, see below!)
Rafa Ramón (you missed the pillow and the watch, sorry we couldn't accept that the map changed in three places!)
Akiko Mitsuhashi (you missed the candle, but I guess you were nearly right!)

Finally, the comedy responses...

Nick's suggestion:

1) The plant has moved to towards the bed;
2) Jeff is wearing a fetching French hat;
3) The button on the alarm clock has changed from green to blue;
4) Someone has stolen Jeff's watch;
5) The colours on the map have changed;
6) The little blue figure by the map has lost something - can't work out what probably something very important!
7) What I think is a candle has gone out and changed colour from pink to purple;
8) and Jeff's cup has changed colour, obviously finished his miso soup!

and Ana Morera's response!

"How the hell does this 8 differences thing work? María, don't laugh at my question. Ahh! What is the prize for the winner?"
