Himeji castle. The best-preserved of all of Japan's historic castles (i.e. it
hasn't been burnt down), dating from the C16th century.

Himeji has been used in many films, most recently in The Last Samurai.

Notice the open hatches for pouring hot oil on the attacking enemy!

Spot the group of Japanese schoolchildren!

Ok, so it was refurbished in the 1950's and more recently, in 1997!
