‘Woodlands', a family home, is a Purbeck stone bungalow situated on the edge of Durlston Country Park and adjacent to the Dorset Coast , which was granted the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
It is set in a quiet, secluded wooded area, yet within ten minutes walk you can be in the centre of Swanage. On the doorstep you will find National Trust land and numerous coast and inland walks. Swanage and nearby Studland have lovely safe beaches that offer windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing and fishing.
The accommodation is for a maximum of six people, consisting of three double bedrooms (one 5ft double and two twin), a huge L-shaped sitting/dining room, a bathroom and toilet, and shower room and toilet.
The bungalow is well and fully furnished and in good decorative order with gas central heating, fitted carpets and double glazing throughout.
There are two very private, landscaped garden areas with lawns and shrubs, one facing east and the other south, both with Purbeck stone terrace and garden seat. A stone wall and gate enclose the gardens.
We feel sure that you would have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in this lovely part of Dorset and that our home would provide an ideal base from which to explore it.
